2009 Fantasy Football: TE, D, KThe Best of the rest
Tight end, Defense, and kicker are the least important positions. While study hours build up for Tight Ends, Defense, Kickerss, running backs, and wide receivers, limited time should be spent on defense and kickers. Usually, quality can be found in the late drafting rounds. In auctions, most kickers and defenses go for a dollar. A tip in auctions is to get the best ranked defense and your kicker right away. Don’t wait to the end and get the 12 th ranked defense for that $1.00 purchasing power. Another tip is to draft late bye week kickers and defense so you don’t have to deal with bye weeks until later. If a quality player comes up after the bye weeks begin, then pick up the new player to finish your season. I did this with Rob Bironas last year.
