The Good, the Bad, and the UglyComments about fantasy football 2009
I am playing in four fantasy leagues this year. There are trends that I am seeing in three of the leagues. I call it the good, the bad, and the ugly. These are the names for the types of rosters that I am seeing after the drafts.
The Good: These are the teams that have top players in starting positions and then have a solid bench rich with rookies, handcuffs, and proven players.
The Bad: These are teams that have some roster potential, but blew the draft by not being able to draft deep. Also, bad players are paired up with good starters. These owners are uninformed and may have drafted suspended players or overvalue a player.
The Ugly: These are teams that reach for a few great players like a star quarterback and really didn’t put in the time to get a solid team. These teams can be exposed in auctions and have serious bye week issues from sloppy drafting. These teams draft defenses and kickers high and in multiples.
