Week three post-Brady. The same top two this week with Romo and Cutler leading, especially Cutler with the great match-up. Rivers moves way up coming off an impressive Monday night following the early pick. Favre should have another good week against a rough Cards defense, as should O’Sullivan who has to like the Saints match-up (as a side note, how much did the Martz effect have on the Lions offense, expect similar assistance to this years Niners). This week’s surprise player at QB looks like Brian Griese who should continue to throw the ball a lot against a banged-up Packers D.

  56. Jerious Norwood (Falcons)
  57. Maurice Morris (Seahawks) BYE
  58. Ahman Green (Texans)

This part of the season continues the RB mash unit. Buckhalter is a fine play if Westbrook is out. Rashard Mendenhall has a chance to be good in place of Willie Parker if he can hold on to the football. Steve Slaton had a big week last week and now has a firm grip on the starting job; he should be solid again. Ryan Grant looks to be fully healthy and figures to be a decent play as RB2 this week against a solid Bucs D. Maurice Jones-Drew should keep up his momentum from last week against a terrible Houston team.

The top WR this week all should have excellent weeks. Fitzgerald and Owens are as safe a bets as there are in fantasy football. It looks like Greg Jennings is starting to take the next step to being an elite WR, expect that to continue. TJ Houshmandzadeh had a great week and he is now the clear #1 receiver for the Bengals. He is a must play WR for this week.

  20. Alge Crumpler (Titans)
  21. Ben Utech (Bengals)
  22. Greg Olsen (Bears)
  23. Robert Royal (Bills)
  24. Kevin Boss (Giants) BYE
  25. Dallas Clark (Colts) BYE
  26. Leonard Pope (Cards)
  27. Ben Watson (Pats) BYE
  28. Mercedes Lewis (Jags)

Same old same old at TE. The best sleeper this week should be Dustin Keller, Favre has found him as a target now, which should happen again this week against the Cards.

  25. Olindo Mare (Seahawks) BYE
  26. John Carney (Giants) BYE

Kickers are all about the same at the end of the year, so it comes down to a week-by-week match up question. My favorite kicker to jump up this week is Josh Scobee who should get a ton of opportunities versus the lowly Texans.

  4. PHI Eagles
  5. BAL Ravens
  6. SEA Seahawks BYE

  21. NE Patriots BYE
  22. IND Colts BYE
  23. WASH Redskins
  24. HOU Texans
  25. OAK Raiders
  26. NO Saints
  27. CIN Bengals
  28. DET Lions BYE
  29. CLE Browns
  30. MIA Dolphins BYE
  31. KC Chiefs
  32. STL Rams

Defenses change week to week more than anything else in fantasy football. Lots of good match-ups this week make the list a toss-up at the top. Any of the top five defenses are an equally good bet to have a solid week. This week’s sleeper on defense is Denver. They are not an elite defense, but they have excellent corners and enough talent to shut down the Chiefs with ease, plus I would not be surprised if they outscore KC themselves.
