Week six post-Brady. Drew Brees continues the revolving door that is the top spot. He plays a weak Carolina defense and should have a very nice day. Peyton Manning jumps way up as perhaps he is finally back to his old self and hitting his stride. If Manning can get going it will be great news for angry fantasy owners who have gotten very little out of him prior to last week. Matt Schaub jumps way up after two good games, thanks in no small part to playing the lowly Lions. The big riser for me this week is Marc Bulger. Bulger is still a solid QB who has a few weapons around him. The Rams have confidence off of the Redskins upset, and the Cowboys are hurting (especially in the secondary. All of those signs point toward a potentially good sleeper week for Bulger.

Marion Barber should get a large helping of carries whether Tony Romo plays or not. The Cowboys have stayed away from the run in a few games this season and due to injuries he should get more carries, and especially against the Rams he should have good numbers. Clinton Portis has been excellent the last few weeks and is becoming one the leagues most reliable backs. Dominic Rhodes is the high riser this week; due to the injury to Joseph Addai he is a good bet to put up solid numbers this week. The other sleeper this week is Warrick Dunn. Dunn has been good for the last couple of weeks, no reason to think he cannot do it again against a bad Seattle team; he is a sleeper flex or bye week play.

- Antonio Bryant (Bucs)
Terrell Owens slides some with the injury to Romo and the addition of Roy Williams, but he is still a clear #1 WR. Brandon Marshall and Greg Jennings have both solidified spots as top five WR from here on out. Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne look to have two of the hottest QB’s out there right now. Marques Colston is back healthy and with a great match-up this week. The biggest mover/sleeper for this week is probably Devin Hester. Hester had a good week last week, and Kyle Orton keeps looking better. The Bears meet a Vikings defense that is good against the run and bad against the pass. All those signs point to passing offense and who better to get the ball to than Devin Hester in space. Hester is a good flex or WR 2 bye week play.
Tight Ends
- Jason Witten (Cowboys)
- Antonio Gates (Chargers)
- Chris Cooley (Redskins)
- Tony Gonzalez (Chiefs)
- Owen Daniels (Texans)
- Dallas Clark (Colts)

- Jeremy Shockey (Saints) HEALTH ?????

- Visanthe Shiancoe (Vikings)
- Vernon Davis (49ers)
- Donald Lee (Packers)
- Billy Miller (Saints)
- Ben Watson (Pats)
- Daniel Graham (Broncos)
- Kevin Boss (Giants)
- Donte Rosario (Panthers)
TE’s do not change much again, with the exception of Kellen Winslow dropping out of the top ten due to injury. The big sleeper this week is Bo Scaife who should have a few goal line chances against the lowly Chiefs. I also still like John Carlson and Zach Miller to have solid games.
Kickers
- Nick Folk (Cowboys)
- Mason Crosby (Packers)
- Nate Kaeding (Chargers)
- John Kasay (Panthers)
- Matt Bryant (Bucs)
- Josh Scobee (Jags) BYE

- Taylor Mehlhaff (Saints)
- Adam Vinatieri (Colts)
- Stephen Gostkowski (Pats)
- Jason Elam (Falcons) BYE
- Neil Rackers (Cards) BYE
- Kris Brown (Texans)
- David Akers (Eagles) BYE
- Rian Lindell (Bills)
- Phil Dawson (Browns)
Kickers are all about the same at the end of the year, so it comes down to a week-by-week match up question. My favorite kicker to jump up this week is John Kasay (AGAIN, did not work out last week, but I am confident) who should get plenty of chances this week against New Orleans, and has been as solid this season as any kicker in the league.

Defenses change week to week more than anything else in fantasy football. This week is a rough week if you do not have one of the top tier defenses overall. There are really only three good defense match-ups outside of the top tier defenses. The Jets play a struggling Oakland team, but Oakland’s offensive talent, especially running, that could have a big game at any time, tempers the match-up. The Dophins are a good play. They have played pretty well this season, and the Dolphins have a great match-up with the Ravens. Lastly, the big sleeper for this week is the Houston Texans. They do not have a very good defense overall, but they do have a few playmakers. The biggest thing going for them this week is playing the Lions, especially with Dan “Where is the End Zone” Orlovsky at QB. From here on out playing any defense against the Lions is not a bad move.
