Several surprising QB’s are good picks this week. David Garrard, Kyle Orton, Chad Pennington, Marc Bulger, and Matt Ryan are all good picks for this week. The most dangerous pick this week is Ben Roethlisberger. Roethlisberger may not be standing enough this week to put up decent numbers. The Steelers offensive line is as bad as any in the NFL, and the Redskins have a solid defense that can pressure the QB, that is a bad combination for the Steelers.

  55. LaDainian Tomlinson (Chargers) BYE

This week is about health questions. If Joseph Addai can go then Dominic Rhodes value is severely limited. If Willie Parker can go then Mewelde Moore’s value is slightly less. Though, Moore would still be a solid flex play this week, even if Parker can play. Justin Fargas and Cedric Benson both take big jumps this week. Also, Rudi Johnson and Ricky Williams are okay flex plays. Last weeks top surprise was Leon Washington, and he may get a few more chances than usual this week against the Bills.

  54. Devery Henderson (Saints) BYE
  55. Lance Moore (Saints) BYE
  56. Marques Colston (Saints) BYE

The biggest jump this week is Donnie Avery. Avery is a great bet for this week, especially as good a match-up as the rams have against Arizona. I really like both Avery and Bulger this week. I would stay away from both Santonio Holmes and Hines Ward this week for the same reason that Roethlisberger is a bad play. The Steelers offense may do fine, but I would not bet on it this week. Santana Moss is an injury question, but if he plays he is a great bet against a Steeler defense that struggles with deep speed threats.

Tight Ends

  1. Tony Gonzalez (Chiefs)
  2. Chris Cooley (Redskins)
  3. Jason Witten (Cowboys) Health????
  4. Owen Daniels (Texans)
  5. Dallas Clark (Colts)
  6. Greg Olsen (Bears)
  7. John Carlson (Seahawks)
  8. Zach Miller (Raiders)
  9. Bo Scaife (Titans)
  10. Anthony Fasano (Dolphins)
  11. Kellen Winslow (Browns)
  12. Heath Miller (Steelers)
  13. L.J. Smith (Eagles)
  14. Marcedes Lewis (Jaguars)
  15. Todd Heap (Ravens)
  16. Alex Smith (Bucs)
  17. Ben Watson (Pats)
  18. Visanthe Shiancoe (Vikings)
  19. Daniel Graham (Broncos)
  20. Donald Lee (Packers)
  21. Dustin Keller (Jets)
  22. Kevin Boss (Giants)
  23. Antonio Gates (Chargers) BYE
  24. Vernon Davis (49ers) BYE

Bo Scaife is the best bet for this week to jump up. Scaife has been very good the last few weeks, and the Packers are notoriously bad against good TE. Also, Greg Olsen has taken a huge leap forward and is now an excellent play as a TE.

Kickers

  1. Robbie Gould (Bears)
  2. Matt Bryant (Bucs)
  3. Rob Bironas (Titans)
  4. Stephen Gostkowski (Pats)
  5. Matt Prater (Broncos)
  6. Mason Crosby (Packers)
  7. Ryan Longwell (Vikings)
  8. Kris Brown (Texans)
  9. Neil Rackers (Cards)
  10. Josh Scobee (Jags)
  11. Nick Folk (Cowboys)
  12. Jason Elam (Falcons)
  13. Rian Lindell (Bills)
  14. Jeff Reed (Steelers)
  15. David Akers (Eagles)
  16. Phil Dawson (Browns)
  17. Adam Vinatieri (Colts)
  18. Shaun Suisham (Redskins)
  19. Sebastian Janikowski (Raiders)
  20. John Carney (Giants)
  21. John Kasay (Panthers) BYE
  22. Nate Kaeding (Chargers) BYE
  23. Joe Nedney (49ers) BYE

Kickers are all about the same at the end of the year, so it comes down to a week-by-week match up question. My favorite kicker to jump up this week is Robbie Gould. Gould and the Bears get to play the Lions this week, always a plus for fantasy owners.

  2. NY Giants
  3. TB Bucs
  4. JAX Jaguars
  5. PHI Eagles

  11. ATL Falcons
  12. MN Vikings
  13. IND Colts
  14. MIA Dolphins
  15. ARI Cardinals
  16. PITT Steelers
  17. NE Patriots
  18. OAK Raiders
  19. NY Jets
  20. DAL Cowboys
  21. HOU Texans
  22. SEA Seahawks
  23. STL Rams
  24. CLE Browns
  25. DEN Broncos
  26. CIN Bengals
  27. DET Lions
  28. KC Chiefs
  29. SD Chargers BYE
  30. CAR Panthers BYE
  31. SF 49ers BYE
  32. NO Saints BYE

Defenses change week to week more than anything else in fantasy football. This week Jacksonville should be a great play against the Bengals. Also, the Falcons defense is a solid sleeper pick this week. The Falcon defense has been solid and shut down the excellent Eagles offense. Oaklands offense has been terrible, and this could be a good week for Atlanta.
