Dent is on his way to Canton

After many years of waiting, former Chicago Bear Richard Dent is finally a member of the Hall of Fame. Dent, who was drafted by the Bears in 1983 out of Tennessee State University, will be the 27 th Chicago Bear to be enshrined in Canton.
Dent has a career total of 137 ½ sacks, was a cornerstone of the 1985 Super Bowl champion Bears and was Super Bowl XX MVP.
Dent was a finalist for the Hall of Fame seven of the last eight years. He will be inducted on August 6, 2011 along with Marshall Faulk, Chris Hanburger, Les Richter, Ed Sabol, Deion Sanders, and Shannon Sharpe.
