Top 3 NFL free agents still on the market

There have been a lot of major moves in the NFL this season, from big time trades to the free agent market. There are many teams changing trying to add that special piece to help get them to the championship, so who made the biggest moves? There were a few teams that really took advantage of the off season the Dolphins made a big move at wide receiver sending Ted Ginn Jr. to the 49ers and bringing in Brandon Marshall from the Broncos. The New York Jets were big on moves bringing over Antonio Cromartie and Ladainian Tomlinson from the Chargers to make their run at the Super Bowl title. In this article we want to look at the top 3 NFL free agents still on the market as the season gets ready to get underway.

3. Keith Bulluck-Linebacker

Keith Bulluck played his whole career with the Tennessee Titans and was an incredible linebacker that made play after play. He was the heart and soul of the Titans defense, in 2009 he had a knee injury that curbed his season and obviously curbed his time with the Titans. Bulluck has been underrated his whole career, he has over 1,000 tackles and that will be something that the Titans will miss. There are many teams that could use a passionate, fiery linebacker but as of yet there are no takers.

2. Brian Westbrook-Running Back

Westbrook was the key to the Eagles offense for many years but over the last couple of years he has been riddled with injuries. In his eight seasons with the Eagles he had close to 6,000 rushing yards and over 400 receptions, he could be one of the best receiving backs to ever play the game. Here is a back that has been solid for years and there has to be a team that is willing to sign him. From reports he has had many offers but none that seem serious, so we will see if Westbrook will find a home as the season starts.

1. Terrell Owens-Wide Receiver

I understand there are many out there that think T.O. is a cancer and doesn’t deserve to play in the NFL, and I understand that his on the field antics aren’t helpful to his team, but I ask you as far as off the field issues has there been any? Has he been suspended for drugs, alcohol or any actions off the field? Think about it last season in his year with the Buffalo Bills he had one of the least productive quarterbacks in the league and he struggled with his stats and he kept his mouth shut. Fact is during his time in the NFL he has amassed over 1,000 receptions, 15,000 yards, and over 140 touchdowns he is a primetime player and he is one that could help a team.

There are many other free agents out there that could help a team chances are if they don’t get on before the start of the season they will find a team at some point. As for these three we think they are the cream of the crop and maybe just maybe they can find a spot on your favorite NFL team.
