Draft needs team by team (AFC East)
Everyone knows that the draft for many teams is very important, not only does it address certain key needs it also can set the stage to acquire a franchise player. Now as we have seen in the past there are many touted as ‘can’t miss prospects’ but they end up missing and many that fly under the radar and become solid players for a very long time. The key for many teams will be filling obvious needs that could eventually send them to the Super Bowl championship. Needless to say, this is not an easy task but what we want to do in these articles is to setup the immediate team needs and possible free agents for each. With the lockout in place, it could be a tough time for many players and teams but this could be an important time to find the missing piece of the puzzle that will lead to the big prize.
Buffalo Bills
For the Bills it has been a rough few years a far cry from the teams of Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas in the early 90’s. I think they have found a formula that may work in the backfield with Jackson and Spiller but they need help at the quarterback position and on the defensive side of the ball if they hope to get back to playoff contention.

New England Patriots
As always the Patriots found themselves in contention as they acquired the best record in the NFL last season, but it didn’t translate into a championship. With Tom Brady at quarterback you can never count them out, but they are getting older and they will use the draft to bolster both sides of the ball.

New York Jets
A lot of talk but still no title, for the Jets and their fans they want more than just a good talk they want action and you can guarantee that Rex Ryan will continue to talk the talk but can his team walk the walk? The Jets have many holes to fill and you wonder what do they need to get better?
