The Oakland Raiders celebrated in honor of Davis with a much needed victory. Although emotions were mixed, the Raiders had a lot to consider. Celebrations, a comeback attempt and an injury to their starting quarterback. The end result was still a Raiders 24-17 win.

Jason Campbell broke his collarbone and the Raiders offense struggled after. Fujita and Gocong hit Campbell and caused the injury, forcing Campbell to withdraw from the game.

Oakland used the element of surprise to their advantage and Kevin Boss caught a 35 yard touchdown pass, from a fake field goal. Punter Shane Lechler threw deep, successfully to every ones surprise. Al Davis was celebrated throughout and Raiders fans were in awe at this trick play that even the late great Al Davis would have appreciated.

In this eventful match, the Running Backs were a key focus. Darren McFadden scored a touchdown early on and ran successfully throughout the night for 91 yards and 1 touchdown. Although McFadden had a great game, Hillis caused a lot of controversy as he sat out for most of the game. Rumors were spreading that he is about to be traded due to the contract dispute, while Browns staff said he had an injured left hamstring. Browns fans will hopefully see the picture clearer come this Tuesday’s trade deadline. Hardesty performed okay and ran for 35 yards, showing if Hillis is about to depart, the Browns will need another man to dominate their running game.

Cleveland nearly sparked a comeback after scoring a late touchdown and then recovering an onside kick, causing fans to worry for the remaining minute left on the clock. McCoy threw for 215 yards and 2 touchdowns but was unable to tie the game late on; showing the youngster still needs experience to compete with the Brady's of the NFL.

Next up for Cleveland is a visit from the Seattle Seahawks, a game that the Browns will be motivated to win, to keep their already slim chance of a playoff place alive. The Seahawks will be looking to add another win, against an inconsistent Browns team.
