Week 5 Game Recap - Kansas City Chiefs @ Indianapolis Colts

Indianapolis Colts hats & merchandise

Coming into week 5 both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Indianapolis Colts found themselves in a struggle. The Chiefs who had high expectations coming into the season were bitten by the injury bug early in the season, with the losses of Jamaal Charles and Eric Berry the Chiefs are now looking to find who they truly are on both sides of the ball. Eric Berry was no doubt the leader on the defensive side of the ball; even early in his career he has established that he is a force in the NFL. The Indianapolis Colts have been struggling to really find who they are on offense since the loss of Peyton Manning during the offseason. From Collins to Painter it has not been easy trying to find someone to even slightly fill the big shoes of Peyton Manning. The one constant for the Colts has been the defense with Mathis and Freeney rushing the passer, sacks have come early and often but they have had a difficult time stopping offenses. The Colts are trying to find their groove; they have improved over the past few weeks but have not been able to get over the hump. Let’s take a look at Sunday’s recap:
