With 2:44 left in the game, Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos trailed the Miami Dolphins 15-0. You thought the game was over, and the Dolphins had won their first game of the season. Think again.

Tebow and the Broncos rallied and scored 18 unanswered points to beat the Dolphins 18-15 in Miami on Sunday.

"It's tough to say, but man, Timmy did a great job," said Dolphins center Mike Pouncey who played with Tebow at Florida. "Hopefully the critics will get off him about what he can't do and talk about the things that he can do, and that's figure out a way to win the game, no matter what."

With 2:44 Tebow had thrown for only 40 and had only 4 completions out of 10. But he was resilient and never gave up and with 17 seconds left in the game, he threw a 3 yard pass to Daniel Fells and then converted a 2 point conversion himself to tie the game and send it to overtime.

`It was my fault we were in that position," he said. "Silly things kept happening. On the sidelines, we were still believing. We wanted it, and they believed in me for more than 60 minutes."

Matt Prater kicked a 52 yard field goal to win it in overtime after Matt Moore was sacked and fumbled the ball in Miami territory.

"It was never in doubt," said Denver's relieved coach, John Fox.

The Dolphins have now lost their last 9 nine games stretching back to last season and they have lost 12 of their last 13 at home. Miami are 0-6 and Denver are 2-4.

"You can't lose confidence in yourself, or you've lost already," Tebow said. "When you get knocked down, you've got to keep getting back up." Tebow was given the start in front of Kyle Orton and after that comeback performance; it's highly likely Tebow will be keeping Orton on the bench.

Tebow finished the day 13 for 27, 161 yards and two TD's. Matt Moore on the other hand finished with 22 for 33, 197 yards and 1 TD.

"I'm trying to search for answers," Miami running back Reggie Bush said. "I just keep coming back to embarrassing."

The Dolphins and Broncos struggled to get anything going before the Dolphins scored their first TD and stretched the lead out to 13-0 early in the fourth quarter.

Tebow was greeted with a huge roar when he walked onto the field for the first series. However the stadium was half empty, which is a sign from the Dolphins fans that they aren't going to pay good money to see the Dolphins play like this and lose every week.

Midway through the second quarter, the Broncos were averaging just 7 inches per play. Fantastic the way Tebow changed things around.

For the Dolphins the suck for Luck campaign goes on as they battle it out with the Colts for the #1 spot in the draft next year.

Times are dark in Miami right now, but things couldn't be looking better for Denver.
