With Henne, will come good
It's fair to say that Chad Henne has not had the greatest start to life in the NFL considering that he and the Dolphins were the eleventh worst ranked offense in the NFL last year. But that's all in the past because I believe Henne will have a breakout year considering his offense is a lot more equipped with the free agent signing of Reggie Bush from the Saints and big draft picks such Mike Pouncey and Daniel Thomas. Also the Dolphins decided to bring in a new Offensive coordinator to replace Dan Henning in the name of Brian Dabol from the Browns. A lot of people didn't understand why the Dolphins would bring in Dabol from the Browns because let's be honest, the Browns haven't been making the playoffs very regularly over the past few years or so.
Even though Henne through 19 picks last year, it wasn't his entire fault. Firstly Dan Henning wasn't very reassuring to Henne because he seemed to pick the wrong plays at crucial parts of games which ultimately resulted in the Dolphins losing games last year. For example in week 15 the Dolphins were down 17-14 to the Bills in a game that the Dolphins had to win to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Dolphins got to the Buffalo 30 with less than 2 minutes to go in the game and in stead of Henne throwing the ball and going for the win, Henning called a wildcat which killed the momentum in the drive that Henne had built up. Henning decided to play for the field goal instead of going for the win. That was the game that knocked the Dolphins out of playoff contention all because of that play that Henning called.

Another reason why Henne didn't perform last year was because he had little or no support from the backfield from Brown or Williams which made Henne force more passes which led to the more picks.
But a lot of that has changed. Williams and Brown are now at the Ravens and the Eagles and Henne has the experience of Reggie Bush and the rookie powerhouse Daniel Thomas to help him and the offense improve and hopefully make the playoffs.
I'm not sure if Brian Dabol is the answer for the Dolphins, but I believe Henne is. He just has to step up and be the leader of the offense this year and he needs to take more time with his throws and he needs to be more accurate as well. I think this Dolphins team can be a real contender in the AFC East, but it's all down to Henne
