Henne shines as Newton struggles
Cam Newton has yet to lead the panthers to a Touchdown and there was no difference last night as Chad Henne and the Dolphins cruised past the Panthers last night. Henne went 15-24 for 194 yards whereas Newton went 7-14 for a dismal 66 yards. Newton said afterwards' I'm not worried about the starting quarterback job. I'm only worried about getting better and tonight I didn't play well'.
Newton played the entire first half and the offense only managed 3 first downs and the half ended with Newton throwing a hopeless pass which fell incomplete in the end zone, it was the closest they came to getting into the end zone.
Chad Henne on the other hand was praised by his team mate Reggie Bush.' He played well out there tonight and he looked like a really good quarterback’. Bush had 8 rushes for 48 yards and he had 2 receptions for 33 yards. Daniel Thomas also rushed for 52 yards on 12 attempts.

The Dolphins opened up the scoring on their second drive with Henne bringing them 80 yards on 12 plays. It proved that the last yard was the toughest but Lex Hillard went into the end zone on fourth and goal from the 1.
The Dolphins increased their lead in the second with a 39 yard FG from Dan Carpenter then scored a TD which was finished off with a 4 yard run from Daniel Thomas.
The Panthers didn't score until the fourth, but by then the Dolphins were up 20-0 and their reserves were on.
Last night Henne looked like a franchise QB, and Dolphins fans want him to stay like that.
