NFL Week 7 PreviewsThis NFL season has been full of exciting drama and impressive performances so far. It has been particularly interesting in that there seems to be an increased balance in the team, with very few teams streaking ahead of the pack – furthermore, some of the teams that are performing best thus far are not familiar faces atop the standings. In week 7, the drama looks to continue, with several big matchups slated to take place. Here are a few words on some of the best games coming up this weekend. The Falcons visit the Lions on Sunday, and before the season most people probably would have picked the Falcons. However, the Lions have been the surprise team of the year, jumping out to a 5-0 start before losing to San Francisco last week. Meanwhile, the Falcons have been a bit up-and-down, and now hold a 3-3 record. Atlanta will be hungry as it looks to jump above .500, and the Lions will be trying hard to maintain their winning ways following their first loss. This one should be hotly contested. The Texans visit Tennessee to play the Titans this weekend in another game that should be a very close fight. Both teams have performed extremely well at times, but have also run into trouble. Houston is stuck at 3-3 right now, while Tennessee is 3-2 and undefeated at home. Both teams should be in the playoff mix by the end of the year, and whichever side wins this matchup could propel itself nicely into the second half of the season. Perhaps the best game this weekend features the San Diego Chargers visiting the New York Jets. The Chargers have somewhat quietly opened up a 4-1 start behind the stellar accurate play we’ve come to expect from quarterback Philip Rivers, as well as a terrific season from Ryan Matthews. Meanwhile, the Jets have struggled a bit out of the gate, with an underachieving 3-3 record. However, the Jets are also undefeated at home, and most expect them to hit their stride at some point. A win for the Chargers would keep them among the league’s elite and start to garner some serious attention; and a loss for the Jets might be nearly crippling. These are just a few of the many games to have your eye on for this coming weekend. If you’ve been missing out on NFL action so far this season, look into some of the league packages offered on satellite dish networks. With the right television package, you should be able to watch all of the games listed above, as well as all of the others – and you can follow your team every single week. Don’t miss out – this season’s action has been some of the best in a while.
