Top 10 games of 2010 - Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants (week 15)

Everyone knows of the rivalry between the Giants and Eagles is a fierce one, with the addition of Michael Vick at quarterback for the Eagles this really makes the Eagles one of the top teams in the NFC. For the Giants they seem to be so up and down on offense, the truth is Eli Manning is unpredictable at the quarterback position when he is on point he can be very efficient and make many plays but when he struggles the Giants become a one dimensional team. For the Eagles Michael Vick has added a new spin on the offensive side of the ball with the speed of Jackson, Maclin and Avant this team is a very difficult team to defend and most can’t. Vick does it on the ground or in the air and with L. McCoy running the ball, offense is no problem for Philly. There is no doubt that this was a game that the Giants really needed for their playoff hopes, but a monumental collapse playoffs were just not cards for the G-men in 2010, here is how this amazing game was played:

1st quarter:

The Giants strike first as Manning finds M. Manningham for a 35-yard touchdown reception

At the end of the first Giants 7, Eagles 0

2nd quarter:

Eagles get on the board as D. Akers kicks a 34-yard field goal

The Giants come back with another Manning to Manning ham touchdown pass from 33-yards out

For the Giants L. Tynes kicks a 25-yard field goal

The Giants continue the roll on offense as Manning connects with H. Nicks from 8-yards out for another touchdown pass the score at the half Giants 24, Eagles 3

3rd quarter:

The Eagles begin the comeback as M. Vick finds J. Maclin from 8-yards out to draw them a little closer the score at the end of the third Giants 24, Eagles 10

4th quarter:

The Giants get on the board as E. Manning hits K. Boss from 8-yards away for another touchdown

The Eagles come right back Vick connects with B. Celek for a 65-yard touchdown

M. Vick uses his legs to score again as he rushes in for a 4-yard touchdown

Then Vick connects with J. Maclin from 13-yards out as the Eagles continue to play as though the Giants have no defense

Finally to cap off the amazing comeback D. Jackson returns a punt 65-yards for the go ahead touchdown, talk about your gigantic collapse. Vick rushed for over 130 yards and passed for over 240 in this amazing comeback win for the Eagles. The score Eagles 38, Giants 31
