Top 10 games of 2010 - Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts (week 4)We all know that division games are what really make the NFL worth watching, with the occasional rivalry games outside of divisional matchups. In the AFC South it is no different the Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars have really began to really get at each other. From comments about each other to tough play in each game this was most definitely one to watch in 2010. The Colts have had the division on lock down over the past several years and the upstart Jaguars were looking to show they were ready to step up and take the reigns. As it has always been said, ‘to be the man you have to beat the man’ and in this instant to be the division champ you have to go through the division champ. With David Garrard at quarterback and MJD running behind a solid offensive line they were looking to exploit the small but quick Indy defense. For Manning and the Colts offense they were looking to continue business as usual, but they knew the Jags would be a tough opponent. Here is how the game went down:
st quarter: J. Addai took the ball in from 2-yards out for a touchdown David Garrard answered right back with a 25-yard rushing touchdown The score at the end of the 1st Indy 7, Jacksonville 7
nd quarter: M. Jones-Drew put the Jags out in front with a 1-yard touchdown run P. Manning fired back hitting D. Clark from 7-yards out for a touchdown The score at the end of the 2nd tied Indy 14, Jacksonville 14
rd quarter: The Jags took control with a 15-yard touchdown strike from David Garrard to M. Lewis The score at the end of the 3rd Indy 14, Jacksonville 21
th quarter: The Colts scored first with a 2-yard J. Addai touchdown run M. Jones-Drew came right back with an 8-yard pass from David Garrard for a touchdown P. Manning drove Indy down the field and found A. Collie from a yard out for a touchdown In the final seconds the Jags had the ball, Garrard goes back for a pass and it is so close to being intercepted but A. Bethea drops the ball. Jacksonville then sends J. Scobee out to attempt a 59-yard field goal and he nailed it to seal the deal for the Jags. Final score Indy 28, Jacksonville 31.
