Last week, offensive coordinator of the Green Bay Packers Joe Philbin, became the latest head coach of the Miami Dolphins. Many rumors are spreading that Matt Flynn could be heading to the south beach with him.
Aaron Rodgers told a Milwaukee radio station Wednesday that there is a strong chance that Flynn could end up in Florida next season. I think it's a strong possibility that [the Dolphins] would make a run at him," Rodgers said, the paper reports. "I think it kind of makes sense. Joe [Philbin] in that system, which I'm sure is going to be very similar to this system, and Matt having a great grasp of that and playing well in his recent opportunities. I think it would kind of make sense to bring Matt out there."
The Seattle Seahawks are also in need of a QB and they are also expected to make a dash at getting Flynn when he becomes an unrestricted free agent in March
Flynn attracted many people because of his performance against the Detroit Lions where he threw for 480 yards and 6 Touchdowns which is a franchise record.
Flynn is 26 years old and has been in the league for 4 seasons and was drafted in the seventh round of the 2008 draft from Louisiana State.
