Eagles Roll Over the Rams 38-3
If this is any indication on how the Philadelphia Eagles are going to play this year, then this is a great start to the year. Even though the Eagles played the lowly St. Louis Rams, they showed a lot of promise in this game, starting with the special teams. Desean Jackson was phenomenal and he showed he can be a threat as he almost took two punts all the way home.
Next up the Eagles head to Big D to take on Tony Romo and the archrival Dallas Cowboys. Dallas crushed the Eagles last year en route to a NFC East title and the Eagles need to get off to a good start if they expect to hang in the ultra-competitive East this year. Dallas is coming off a blowout of the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland which surprised a lot of people. Many people thought Cleveland would surprise this year but Dallas obviously did not see much as they harassed Derek Anderson all day long and Romo picked the Cleveland defense apart. Should be a good game on Monday Night Football next week.
