Falcons lose in first two preseason games but shine in areas
The Atlanta Falcons finished the first two games of the preseason with losses but came away with strong showings in both games. The biggest question coming into the year was “how good would the offensive line be?” The Falcons offensive line look to be in sync with a nasty style of blocking but working as a unit. No other position will be as crucial as the offensive line for this team and they look to be playing as a great unit so far. Sam Baker has shown consistency and toughness at the left tackle, Blalock looks sharp, and Harvey Dahl looks like the nasty bull showing off his mean streak on the field. Very great showing from the offensive line the past two-preseason games.
The first team defense has really shown up huge in the first two games only allowing one touch down. The Colts didn’t see the end zone this past weekend and that’s a credit to the swarming defense the Falcons are proving they are. The Atlanta Falcons are growing fast in the system and it appears that they have bought into Mike Smith and his coaching staff. The Falcons looks in sync and team orientated with the only thing to slow them down is if injuries happen. Falcons are looking to be very strong this year.
