Panthers win a barnburner in Green Bay
Carolina did two things they rarely have done in 2008. They didn’t lose heart when they got behind and were able to make big plays to stay in the game. Mark Jones won’t get much mention but he was a key to the Panthers victory. Jones averaged 38 yards per kickoff return including a key 51 yarder late in the game. Mark Jones a little known wide receiver constantly gave the team great field position during the game. The Panthers pass defense looked very suspect as Aaron Rodgers lit them up for 298 yards and 3 touchdowns. It is a rare time that the Panthers can match up in a high scoring shootout but they did this week in a must win game, since Tampa Bay knocked off the Saints on Sunday as well.
