"Shocker" in cincy?

Ravens do what they should do to pathetic teams. Win 34 to 3!

Coming into the 2008 season none of the Baltimore faithful knew what they were getting from their Ravens and the new coaching staff. John Harbaugh had proven to be a consistent assistant in Philadelphia and has an NFL family but this is the big stage. His wisest decision was to hire an NFL experienced staff to work under him at key positions.

I hate to sound crass but I for one was happy when Kyle “who?” Boller was out of the picture. Aren't we all tired of hoping our defense is dominant seasons? And sorry that you got hurt KB but you had your CHANCE-- S !

Anyhow back to the present. So why the 2008 Ravens offense is not Johnny U and the boys, it is more efficient and promising than probably any Ravens offense has ever been. Sorry Trent Dilfer but you were what you were and we thank you but your time has come and gone also.

So here we were coming into game 12 and a solid playoff caliber team has emerged in Baltimore that has offensive capability. Not just flashes but some consistency to boot. With rookie Joe Flacco showing poise at QB and Willis McGahee providing leadership and yards at tailback the offense is on the rise. And Willis has been injured much of the season as he was not used Sunday

By the same token a once promising Cincinnati team has imploded. Coming into this game than it was without reservation that we could be confident that an improved Ravens squad would handle their “bidness” on Sunday in Paul Brown Stadium.

This week I will let the stat box speak for itself!
