Three questions for the NFL off-season

I understand that the NFL season is over but I am here to make sure we can keep the fire burning until that first preseason kickoff. There will be many things happening in this offseason and we want to keep you up to date on many things going on in the NFL. From the draft, to free agency, to major trades we are here to keep you in the know about all things NFL. In this article we will cover three big questions lingering in the football offseason.

3. Where will Michael Vick quarterback next season?

Vick came back in an Eagles uniform and showed that he (although in limited time) can perform and make a difference on a team. Now, can he do it full time as a starting quarterback? With Vick there are no questions about his talent and football skills, he can pass and run like he never missed a beat, but can he endure? Is he still the Michael Vick of old, or is he better, or is he just a high risk that is what teams want to know and what they are looking for and in Philly everyone got a small glimpse. I think Michael Vick can be a solid quarterback, not a top of the league QB but a legitimate starter in the league. Think about it he has been there before, he understands the league and in the right system or under the right coordinator he can make a team better.

2. Where will LaDainian Tomlinson be running next season?

I was surprised, how about you? Knowing what Tomlinson has brought over the years to the Chargers team, understanding that he has been a fixture in that Chargers uniform for a long time and they just release him? I understand it is a business and I understand that out with the old and in with the new, but the guy was the first piece in making San Diego a playoff and Super Bowl contender. So he has some age, so he has lost a bit make him the backup but let him retire as a Charger. So that is my rant, where could he be playing next season, how about the Texans, Saints, or Redskins those are just to name a few. Many teams with young backs will be looking for a vet like L.T. to come in and possibly mentor, and some will be looking for a quality number two running back, so the doors are wide open for Tomlinson.

1. Will Favre return to the Vikings next season?

That’s right let the soap opera begin and you know you love it. After the season that Favre and the Vikings had how could he not come back and make that Super Bowl run? We must remember this is Brett Favre and let’s face it he enjoys the attention, for many if you know you are done you hang it up, what Favre must watch out for is playing too long. There are many players that could not let go and stayed too long and some even had career ending injuries. If Favre can still throw the football and still has the desire to play make it happen, with the cast he has around him there is no doubt he makes those players better and Minnesota would love to have him back, but ultimately the choice is, you guessed it…Favre’s.
