2. Adrian Wilson-SS
Wilson is the picture of sticking it out with his team and he was rewarded with a Super Bowl appearance. He has been elected to the Pro Bowl 2 times, has played with Cardinals for 9 seasons, he has two of the longest plays in Cardinals history a 99 yard fumble return and a 99 yard interception return both for touchdowns.
1. Aeneas Williams-CB
Williams was the ultimate Cardinal and a big fan favorite in Arizona. Williams’ ranks 17 th all-time in interceptions with 55, he scored 8 defensive touchdowns and played in 6 consecutive Pro Bowls. Williams will go down as possibly the greatest corner back in Arizona history.
Arizona in recent years has made a Super Bowl appearance, but it could be a long time before it happens again. In this years’ free agency and trade market the Cardinals took major hits on both sides of the ball, and with the recent retirement of Kurt Warner it seems like an uphill battle for the Cardinals. Only time will tell where the Cards’ will rise or fall in the NFL.
