Colts Preseason Week 3 PreviewThe Colts start off the 3rd week of the preseason by going up to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions. This will be the third game for both teams, and there are some things that make this game interesting to watch. The first thing Colts fans can look for is the 3rd receiver. We know that Reggie Wayne and Anthony Gonzalez are the one and two guys, but the 3rd receiver is the one that is still the question. Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon are battling it out, and both need more reps with Peyton Manning to get more comfortable in the offense. It is the third preseason game so we can expect to see the starters in for a large amount of the game, plenty of time for players like Donald Brown and Austin Collie to get acclimated in a more extended amount of playing time.
The Lions will continue to monitor the progress of rookie Matthew Stafford, he has struggled a bit in his first two preseason games, while he is a rookie, he has proven that it may not hurt him to sit and learn this season.
