The Perfect Storm

Dallas Cowboys hats & merchandise

The Dallas Cowboys are spiraling downhill at a rapid pace as history continues to repeat itself. The December swoons are here and although some of the players are dismissing the past; this team lacks confidence going into tomorrow nights game.

The high flying and undefeated Saints are fighting for their chances to create history and the Cowboys stand in their way. Saints are averaging almost 36 points per game, their defense has scored 8 TDs, and they are about as close as you can come to being a perfect team.

As the Cowboys look to be more and more inferior as the game nears kickoff the Saints are the best team for the Cowboys to play at this time. Given they need to win to make the playoffs. But who are we kidding a win over Washington, and Philadelphia would not give this team or its fans any confidence heading into the playoffs.

Dallas has beat one team with a record above .500, Philadelphia, and just say that tomorrow night the game was between Dallas and Detroit. How would anyone feel about their chance after they beat Detroit?

The same---

“Can’t beat good teams, Wade is gone and Romo can’t win in December.”

The team needs its “swagger” back, and in order to accomplish that, a win over an UNDEFEATED team would amplify each and every one of the players confidence to a level that is needed when heading into the playoffs.

New York Giants just got close to beating the Patriots in 2007, and that was the spark they needed for a brilliant playoff performance.
