Top Ten Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles have had some of the most phenomenal players from many different decades. From the offensive side to the defensive side of the ball, they have had many Hall of famers and many players that have helped make Philly one of the stand out teams in the NFL. Here we have compiled our list of the 10 best Philadelphia Eagles players of All-Time:
10. Tre Thomas-OL
A massive offensive lineman, he helped the Eagles improve not only in pass protection but also in their running game. He was a 3 time pro bowler and started all but one game with the Eagles. A solid starter for the Eagles with huge size and talent on the line, he was one of the key to the parts of the offense.
9. David Akers-K
Akers is a solid kicker and has been for the Eagles for his career. He has the most consecutive field goals with 19 for the Eagles and a 3 time pro bowler, Akers has been a clutch kicker not only in the regular season but also in the playoffs during his career.
8. Brian Westbrook-RB
Westbrook was drafted in the 3 rd round and what a find for the Eagles and their offense. Westbrook was the “all everything back” he not only could run the ball, he could receive out of back field and he was also a great blocker. Westbrook made it to 2 pro bowls during his time in Philadelphia.
7. Harold Carmichael-WR
Carmichael another player drafted late was drafted in the 7 th round turned out to be a steal for the Eagles. He was elected to 4 pro bowls and is 18 th all-time in career touchdowns, he found himself in the end zone many times for Philadelphia.

5. Seth Joyner-LB
One of the most feared linebackers ever to play in the NFL; he was selected to 3 pro bowls and was the Player of the year 1991. He is only one of ten players with 20 sacks and 20 interceptions; he was one of the keys to that fierce Eagles defense in the early 1990’s.
4. Donovan McNabb-QB
Love him or hate he has produced for the city of Philadelphia and for the Eagles on the football field. McNabb is one of the most talented and hard working quarterbacks of his time he is a 5 time pro bowler and led the Eagles to 5 NFC championship games in 8 years. In a moment in Eagles history he had 24 straight completions an Eagles record.
3. Eric Allen-CB
Quarterbacks knew when they played against the Eagles never to throw to the side of Eric Allen. A fast, ball hawking corner back he ran back 3 interceptions for touchdowns in 2 different seasons. He was elected to 6 Pro Bowls and also played 14 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.
2. Brian Dawkins-S
One of the most beloved Eagles players of all-time, Brian Dawkins made his mark in the city of Philadelphia. He was a 7 time pro bowler and had the most games played for an Eagles player with 182, also one of ten 20 sacks and 20 interceptions. Literally the heart and soul for the Eagles defense, a player on the field and a positive role model off the field.
1. Reggie White-DE
Who else would we have at number 1 other than “The Minister of Defense”; Reggie White was the staple of that Eagles defensive line for many years. He is the Eagles all time sack leader and is a 2 time defensive player of the year he also has his number retired by 3 different teams. White made a huge impact on the field but was the solid influence off the field as well; his acts in the community and around the league are widely known and will never be forgotten.
The Eagles are well on their way to becoming an elite team in the NFL (again). With the young talent they have with Jackson, McCoy and Maclin the future looks very bright for Philly. Also with the veteran presence they have on the field it could be very much sooner rather than later for that Super Bowl in Philadelphia.
