Jets Add Tomlinson

For some reason the Jets signed LaDainian Tomlinson over the weekend. The move makes sense IF and only IF LDT won't be featured in the offense.

Let's face it, the guy is washed up. He's so washed up that Corey Feldman feels sorry for him. By the way Corey, my condolences. If there is one place in the NFL that LDT could possibly rejuvenate his career, it would be in New York. Last season the Jets had the top rushing attack in the league and commit themselves to running the ball.

The Jets plans should be clear. Shonn Greene should be the Jets feature back. Leon Washington should get a lion's share of the carries as well. Taking carries away from those two could be risky as could be paying the rotting corpse of a former MVP $5 mil over two years.

You can never have too many good backs so this is a decent move. I won't go crazy over it though. Decent move. Decent player. I predict this move to be much more newsworthy than noteworthy on the field.

And yes I predicted LDT would go to the Vikes the day before he went to the Jets. Nice.
