The first days of Minnesota Vikings Training Camp have been exciting. The most recent news is the sprained MCL of Tarvaris Jackson. This is a blow for Tarvaris because Sage Rosenfels should get caught up with the system and surpass Jackson. Rosenfels was my choice for starting quarterback before the Brett Favre talk. Even though Rosenfels was brutal on the first day, he should emerge.
Fans are excited about the Percy Harvin signing. It will be interesting to see what he has for speed in practice. Other notes, Sidney Rice has been looking better. Adrian Peterson is still dropping a lot of passes in 3rd down situations. To keep the miles down on AP, the Vikes would be best to have Chester Taylor or Percy Harvin in the 3rd down role.
Camp will be continuing in Mankato until July 12th, 2009.
