Week 4, the Minnesota Vikings played like a dominant team should. Even though the defense gave up huge chunks of yardage to the St. Louis Rams, the Vikings had a great performance, rested starters, and didn’t get hurt.
The new test for the Vikings is in the next 3 weeks: Ravens, Steelers, and Packers. If the Vikings go 2/3 in these match-ups and barring injury to Adrian Peterson and Brett Favre, the Viking should be considered a serious contender as the next NFC champion. If the Vikings go 1/3, they are still considered a north conference contender.
As a fan, it is way early to talk Super Bowl for any team. My favorites are in the NFC: Vikings, Eagles. In the AFC: Colts, Steelers, Ravens, and Broncos.
