Tennessee Titans 2008 Preseason Update

For the Tennessee Titans, their 2008 season begins on August 9th with a home game against the St.Louis Rams. Kickoff is set for 7:00 P.M in Nashville. If the unbiased observer looks at the two teams, it could be said that the game is unfairly matched. Last season, the Titans made it to the playoffs while the Rams only won three games all season.

The next game is another home game against the Oakland Raiders. Last season, these teams meet in Nashville. In that game the Titans won by only 4 points. This time the game isn't as serious since it's preseason but it would still be nice to see a repeat victory.

The last two preseason games this year are away from Nashville. The first one being at Atlanta against the Falcons. This is a game the Titans won last season by one touchdown. This time however it could be different since its an away instead of home game.

The final preseason game is at Lambeau Stadium against the Green Bay Packers. These two teams meet last preseason with Green Bay losing by 16 points. This season could definitely be a repeat victory over the Packers since there starting a new quarterback. A win in Wisconsin would be a good launch pad into the regular season.

Last preseason the Titans went 3-1, losing there first game to the Washington Redskins and then winning there remaining three. This year could be similar. Only one preseason opponent made it to the previous playoffs. And on top of that, the Titans haven't lost to any of their preseason opponents in two years.
