A week Away From the NFL Draft 2009

And then I woke up!

So for the 74th time the NFL will conduct its Player Selection Meeting. As has been the case in recent years, the Draft will be held in NYC at Radio City Music Hall.

There will be the usual 7 rounds between Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, 2009. It will be aired this year again on ESPN television.

Rounds 1 and 2 will be from 4pm ET to 10pm ET on Saturday.

Round 1: 10 minutes per selection. Round 2: Seven minutes per selection. Rounds 3 through 7: Five minutes per selection.

The following players that will be at the draft, for sure, at Radio City on Saturday: Texas Tech WR MICHAEL CRABTREE, Wake Forest LB AARON CURRY, USC LB BRIAN CUSHING, Kansas State QB JOSH FREEMAN, Virginia T EUGENE MONROE, Mississippi T MICHAEL OHER, Texas DE BRIAN ORAKPO, Baylor T JASON SMITH and Georgia QB MATTHEW STAFFORD. All of whom are expecting to go very high in the selection. According to one report, having 9 wanna be's there is one of the higher amount of prospects in attendance.
