2011 NFL Preview > Chicago Bears Preview2011 Chicago Bears Football Preview

2010 Review: In 2010 the Chicago Bears improved on the record of 2009 where they did not qualify for the playoffs for a third straight season. So in 2010 it was different all around, making the playoffs and winning their division. The Monsters of the Midway are back as the defense really made huge plays for the Bears in 2010 and special teams with Devin Hester made the difference in many games that were extremely close. The Bears got past a feisty Seattle team but then lost to the Packers after Jay Cutler was taken out with a knee injury. The Bears after the season where they won the division, really must improve and have a true solid corps of wide receivers and not a revolving door. With free agent signings the Bears could really improve on offense and as for the defense they just need to reload because the core is already there.
2011 Preview: In Chicago the fans are waiting in anticipation to see the Bears take the field as they believe they have a real Super Bowl contender. With Mike Martz and Jay Cutler leading the offense it seems as though the Bears could be in place to make a real Super Bowl run. Remember last season they were just a couple plays away from getting to the big game. In the shortened offseason they really made good quality moves signing (most of the Dallas receivers) Roy Williams and Sam Hurd but do they truly have the no. 1 receiver in place? They also added key free agents on the defensive side of the ball to make them better, I do believe that the Bears really helped themselves this offseason to get to the ultimate goal.
2011 Prediction: 11-5 (2nd place in NFC North)
