2011 Jacksonville Jaguars Schedule

2010 Review:

The Jaguars looked as though they may overtake the Colts for the South crown but a late season collapse put a hold on those ideas. With a solid running game featuring the ‘bowling ball’ Maurice Jones-Drew the Jags found a break out star in tight end Marcedes Lewis and that helped to create holes for the afore mentioned Jones-Drew. With David Garrard at quarterback the Jags have the veteran leadership to make a run the key will be to get better on the defensive side of the ball. Do the Jaguars have enough to make a solid run at the AFC South the keys will be adding onto the defense and re-signing the key pieces on the offensive side of the ball?

2011 Preview:

For the Jaguars they are looking for the fast start in 2011 that they had in 2010 and all the keys are in place to make a solid run. With the re-signing of tight end Marcedes Lewis it will take pressure off of MJD but the loss of Mike Sims-Walker will not help with the offense of the Jags. Drafting David Garrards’ predecessor in Blaine Gabbert will help set the tone for the future in Jacksonville. What about 2011 for the Jacksonville Jaguars? As we all know Jones-Drew will get his yards but it seems that the Jags are a one sided offense something they were trying to get away from with the emergence of a young receiving corps but who is the no. 1 receiver? If they can find a solid no. 1 (other than TE Lewis) the Jags could make a solid run.

2011 Prediction:

9-7 (3rd place in AFC South)
