2010 Review: One of the most amazing turnarounds in the 2010 season as the Chiefs improved to a 1 st place finish in the AFC West. Many were surprised at the improvement but bolstering the backfield bringing in Thomas Jones to go along side of the talented Jamaal Charles was a solid move. When the Chiefs weren’t running the ball it was the Cassel to Bowe connection through the air. I think many were surprised because the Chiefs are a young team and in order to turn the corner, solid veteran leadership will be a key in the offseason.
2011 Preview: Excitement is in the air in Kansas City, the Chiefs are poised to improve on 2010 and with the acquisitions made in free agency they look to be ready. The key for the Chiefs in this offseason was to find a solid no. 2 wide receiver to go along side of Dwayne Bowe and they believe they have found that in the draft with Jonathan Baldwin, but just in case he is not ready to take the stage they brought in Steve Breaston from Arizona. With a defense that is young, hungry and lots to prove the Chiefs are looking to make a potential Super Bowl run in 2011.
2011 Prediction: 11-5 (2nd place in AFC West)
