2011 New York Giants Schedule

2010 Review:

The Giants really improved on their previous record in 2009 where they went 8-8, but they failed to make the playoffs for the second straight season. With the inconsistency of the offense the only sure things seemed to be Ahmad Bradshaw running the ball and Hakeem Nicks receiving. Nicks really came into his own as the Giants no. 1 receiving threat, and with Bradshaw he emerged as the top running back in New York. Eli Manning continued his up and downs as Giants quarterback and in order for the G-men to have success in the future he must find consistent play as the leader of the Giants offense. Keys for the Giants in 2011 to sure up the offensive line and focus on getting solid on the defensive side of the ball.

2011 Preview:

The Giants were not really active in the free agent market and I believe that could hurt them in the long run, with the teams improving in the East its not about how many moves you make it is about the key moves and for the G-men there were not many. They released a lot of key players, in my mind, that could have helped them win, also with Steve Smith going to the Eagles that move could come back to haunt them later on in the season. The way to be successful is to put key pieces around Eli Manning, unfortunately that did not happen and because of this I believe the Giants will struggle this season and it could mark the end of the Couglin era in New York.

2011 Prediction:

8-8 (3rd place in NFC East)
