2010 Review: The Steelers in 2010 played like champions but unfortunately that title goes to the Packers. The Steelers were a really good team on offense and on defense, and they showed resilience when Roethlisberger was suspended in the first few games of the season. In many of the games it was the defense that really showed up and showed out as they were in domination mode for much of the season. With the man that probably has the highest running motor in the NFL, Troy Polamalu, for the Steelers it seems as though the defense just continues to get better and better season after season. For the Steelers in the 2011 season they must be active in signing those players already on the team and continue to add key pieces to make the title run.
2011 Preview: In 2011 the great thing for the Steelers will be having Ben Roethlisberger for the whole season, no dealing with any suspensions, and in this shorten offseason it could make all the difference in the world. For many teams familiarity will be a huge key as it will be difficult to have new players get familiar with new coaches, players and playbooks. For the Steelers it was all about signing those that were already in the black and gold, keeping the intensity on defense and consistency on offense. With Mendenhall running the ball and Big Ben finding Hines Ward and Mike Wallace it could be a championship year in Pittsburgh once again.
2011 Prediction: 12-4 (2nd place in AFC North)
