2011 Seattle Seahawks Schedule

2010 Review:

The Seattle Seahawks were a surprise team to make the playoffs and were the first team with a sub .500 record to make the playoffs and to win a division title (in a non-strike season). The Seahawks were really coming into their own at the end of the season. In a battle with the St. Louis Rams in the final game of the season they were able to clinch their division and then come back and eliminate the reigning Super Bowl Champion Saints in the wild card game. The Seahawks really needed better play from the quarterback position, from Matt Hasselbeck, it was an on again and off again season at the position. Always a plus the 12th man and a surprising boost from the special teams really paved the way for the playoff push.

2011 Preview:

With many key acquisitions during the shortened offseason the Seahawks look like big winners in this season’s free agent frenzy. The real question will be if Tavaris Jackson can come into his own as the starting quarterback for the Seahawks. With the signing of Sidney Rice you can bet that the Seahawks will be looking to test defenses over the top. Another big pick up is former Raiders tight end Zach Miller who will be a key underneath when the deep ball is not available. The real question will also be what kind of running game will they have to set up the passing attack? Look for Seattle to again be in play for the top spot in the NFC West.

2011 Prediction:

9-7 (1st place in NFC West)
