2011 NFL Preview > Tampa Bay Buccaneers Preview2011 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Football Preview
Head Coach: Raheem Morris 2010 Record: 10-6 (3rd in NFC South) Did not qualify for Playoffs 2011 Free Agents ,Re-signings or Draft Choices: DE- Adrian Clayborn; OG- Davin Joseph; OT- Jeremy Trueblood 2011 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Schedule
2010 Review: Let the Regime of Raheem truly begin in Tampa, as the Buccaneers looked to improve on their 3-13 season from ’09 they made one of the biggest jumps in the NFL this season. The greatest show of coaching came in Tampa where they started 10 rookies during the season and came out with a 10 win season, impressive. In a division with the Falcons and Saints even 10 wins will not get you into the playoffs, but the quarterback Josh Freeman really silenced many doubters with a solid season also the emergence of much troubled LeGarrette Blount made for an impressive year for the Buccaneers. In order to be a contender in their own division they must rely on solid free agent signings during the offseason and more productive play from the veterans.
2011 Preview: It is a hard road to travel in the NFC South, trying to get past the former Super Bowl champs New Orleans Saints and the reigning South champs Atlanta Falcons will make for a difficult time in Tampa. The fact is Tampa is a young team on the rise but do they have enough to really over take the other teams and make a real run for the playoffs. For the Bucs there was really not much activity in the market which could end up hurting them in the long run, it also means they will rely on what got them to the 10 wins last season will they duplicate only time will tell. Tampa has a good team but I am not sure they will over take the Falcons or Saints for the division.
2011 Prediction: 9-7 (3rd place in NFC South)
