2011 Tennessee Titans Schedule

2010 Review:

The 2010 Tennessee Titans were full of dramatics on and off the field, from the Vince Young saga to the Jeff Fisher era coming to an end the Titans really struggled. The real bright spot for the Titans was the running of Chris Johnson, Johnson is really becoming a premier back in the NFL but if he has no help defenses can key on him and have been but he still has a way of getting his yards. A pleasant surprise was the emergence of wide receiver Kenny Britt but his struggles off the field really put a bad light on his performance on the field. The Titans have to get better at the quarterback position; fact is in the AFC South if you are going to contend you must put points on the board and for the Titans that came at a premium in 2010. A question as always if the Titans can find more offensive fire power in 2011, can Chris Johnson get his elusive 2,000 yards rushing only time will tell.

2011 Preview:

The focus for the Titans should be on getting Chris Johnson back into camp as contract disputes are all over the NFL, it is not the time for holdouts in a shorten offseason. Honestly if the Titans will be successful at all, Chris Johnson is the key ingredient and the Titans must recognize this and get him back on the field. Bringing in veteran quarterback Matt Hasselbeck could be a solid pick up but he is only keeping the spot warm for young quarterback Jake Locker out of Washington acquired in the draft. If Hasselbeck can teach Locker and help him on the field the Titans can be a contender on down the road. The fact is that 2011 will be the start of the turnaround, but they will have a long way to go to become playoff contenders.

2011 Prediction:

6-10 (4th place in AFC South)
